He willed to son George Ferring Farm [manor house] and toThomas lands in Littlehampton Rustington and East Preston. The Prestonfarms at this time were the House on Bend from c1794 and Beehives fromc1780. Ferring Past Standing p123 By the end of the 18th centuryWilliam Henty acquired the lease for Ferring Farm (30 December 1795)and occupied the manor house.
