    • JANE HAMILTON was born on 24 January 1884 at Yulgilbar Castlewhere she worked in her early life. Jane married JAMES HOLLIS on 23 June 1908 at Grafton Church of England, later in the Catholic Church.James Hollis was a postman from Tabulam to Urbenville and following their marriage they lived at Casino. Later they were on James'mothers dairy farm at Mallanganee, and then James selected land of his own but later sold it. Following this they returned to Casino to live where James had a horse team and hauled timber from Mallanganee and Mummulgum Mills to Casino, then he delivered groceries and goods toFarleys at Pretty Gully and to Bonalbo Timber to Tenterfield and he worked a horse and dray on Casino Railway Station. In 1917 James'mother gave him 40 acres of land at Piora and he got a homestead formwhich joined the 40 acres and they dairy farmed from 1928 till 1956when the farm was sold. James and Ginny had the Post Office from 1923and the Telephone from 1926 at Piora until 1956. There was not muchmoney around in those days. James and Ginny had a family of 10children, one died as a baby and the remaining 9 continued with theHollis' line in and around Casino area. James died on 10 October 1950at home at Piora and is buried in West Street Cemetery Casino. Ginnydied on 11 November 1961 at Grafton and is buried in Casino also
