    • Don Dorrigo Gazette of 25 Jan 1929 Mrs D Watson - Mrs Watson, relict of the late David Watson, and who, with her late husband and familyresided in Dorrigo for many years, passed away in the Tenterfield Public Hospital one day last week, after a brief illness of about 10 days. Deceased, who was 69 year left Dorrigo where she had spent acouple of months with various friends. When she was taken ill she was staying with her daughter, Mrs William Cottle. The late Mrs Watson issurvived by four sons and three daughters.

      After a week's illness, Mrs Rose Ann Watson passed away in Tenterfield Hospital on Tuesday from heart trouble. The deceased who was 69 years of age was predeceased by her husband. She was born in New England and was held in highest esteem. She leaves a family of three sons and four daughters. Messrs Bert, Mitchell and Audley (Sydney), R.W.(Ebor) and Mesdames Mitchell and Cottle (Tenterfield) and Murollian (Newcastle). The deceased lady was at one time a well known resident of Glen Innes.
