Notes - (Medical):During many years of active service with the Special ArmedServices of the Australian Army, Monty was exposed to many toxicsubstances and to horrific situations which caused serious health andpsychological problems throughout his life. By the time his grandson was born in 1998, he was living in the far north of Western Australia as he needed the warmth of the tropics. Once a year, in thesummer, he would visit Perth to see his doctors.
